Doug Kent

VP Internal Audit

Douglas Kent is VP Internal Audit for Community Hospital Corporation. He is a CPA and proven leader with more than 12 years of experience in auditing, accounting and finance. Doug brings to CHC expertise with issue resolution and process improvement gained through his time in healthcare, retail and telecommunications industries.

 

Before joining CHC, Doug worked as Director of Internal Audit for several firms including Community Health Systems (formerly Triad Hospitals). There he supervised the internal audit team, oversaw the audit plan, implemented annual risk assessments and managed the internal audit functions for the company.

 

Doug received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Texas at Arlington. He also has an MBA from the University of Dallas with a concentration in corporate finance. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Institute of Internal Auditors.
