George Hill serves as VP Managed Care for CHC and its hospitals. In this role he is responsible for managing relationships with all health plans and managed care organizations including contract negotiations, performance and compliance.
Prior to joining CHC, George was a Regional Director of Network Development and Contracting for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas. There he had responsibility for developing networks and managing contractual relationships with all hospital and facility providers in the southwest region of Texas.
George also has experience as the Internal Auditor for Christus Spohn Health System and with a large regional public accounting firm in the areas of auditing and management advisory services.
George graduated with a Bachelor's Degree from Texas A & M Corpus Christi with an emphasis in Accounting and Finance. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. George also has been designated as a Health Insurance Associate and Managed Healthcare Professional by the Health Insurance Association of America.
Outside of work, George is active in his church and works with many not-for-profit organizations.
